Let’s Do Business Group awarded contract to support Newhaven Enterprise Zone with the delivery of multiple business growth funds.
Let’s Do Business Group will shortly be working with Newhaven Enterprise Zone to deliver the Newhaven Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund and the Low Carbon Investment Fund to spur development in the town
We are delighted to announce that we will shortly be working closely with Newhaven Enterprise Zone (NEZ) to deliver up to £300,000 worth of grant funding via the Newhaven Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund and the Low Carbon Investment Fund to local businesses in Newhaven, allowing the redevelopment of disused sites and funding to further expand commercial buildings whilst also encouraging new sustainable business practices and operations to support more local businesses move towards net zero.
The Newhaven Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund aims to develop existing commercial buildings by refurbishment or expansion as well as funding relocations for business purposes. This not only allows businesses to grow within the area but also unleashes new employment opportunities for local people and improved economic activity. This exciting programme is a one-off capital fund that can provide grants of up to £25,000 and can finance feasibility studies, business cases, site led pre-development work, new builds, relocation, refurbishments and expansion projects.
In addition to the Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund, the Low Carbon Investment Fund has been designed to help businesses move towards more sustainable practices by incorporating low-carbon technologies and processes. This fund is for any company with a base of a NEZ site that wishes to pursue business growth by developing low carbon products or services.
Let’s Do Business Group are delighted to continue working alongside The Newhaven Enterprise Zone to further support them in the delivery of these programmes - contributing to their three-year plan which prioritises investment and the provision of the necessary infrastructure and support to catalyse growth and investment in Newhaven, providing a genuine route out of poverty and exclusion through better quality jobs, higher wages and a cleaner environment.
