In 2024, Let’s Do Business Group brought back the 1066 Business Awards, marking 30 years of providing business support to SMEs across the Southeast and East of England. Making the decision to bring back the awards for a second year, the 1066 Business Awards 2025 was held on Thursday 5th June at Bannatynes Hotel, Hastings, to once again celebrate the incredible businesses and individuals that enrich our corner of East Sussex.
Let’s Do Business Group awarded contract to support Newhaven Enterprise Zone with the delivery of multiple business growth funds.
Let’s Do Business Group is partnering with Newhaven Enterprise Zone to deliver up to £300,000 in grant funding through the Refurbishment of Employment Space Fund and the Low Carbon Investment Fund. These programmes are designed to help local businesses redevelop and expand commercial spaces and adopt sustainable, low-carbon practices—unlocking growth, creating jobs, and supporting a greener economy in Newhaven.

Today, Cured Delicatessen is not only reviving traditional charcuterie, but also contributing to the regeneration of Harold Road and bringing the community together – one salchichón at a time.

With over 70 years of combined experience, Gareth & Andrew they turned their vision into reality – crafting bespoke metalwork and shaping the future of their industry. Supported by the RISE Hastings Programme, they navigated the challenges of launching a business, setting a foundation for growth, innovation, and future apprenticeships.
